History

A family farm passed down through generations. Some of the earliest settlers of Clay County, Missouri, our family can be tied back to some of the largest cattle operations in the area. The Mick family produced cattle, chickens and eggs, delivering fresh eggs throughout the county. The Neth and Tapp families developed some of the largest cattle backgrounding operatings in the midwest, growing cattle on lush pastures throughout Clay County. Today, we currently rely on Simmental genetics to produce a small herd of high-quality, high-performance cattle that are easy to look at and fun to watch grow!

Mission

Continually select genetic options that improve our small herd of cattle and produce young female options for local sales that can help integrate enhanced Simmental and SimAngus genetics into other producer operations throughout the MidWest
